The residential belt between St. Charles and St. Peters, either side of Harvester Road. Close to our base and easy for us to reach.
Harvester is the residential area south of St. Charles and east of St. Peters, built out along Harvester Road between Highway 94 and Jungermann Road. Much of it carries a St. Charles mailing address in the 63303 ZIP, which is why people are sometimes unsure what to call it.
For our purposes it does not matter much — it is one of the closest parts of the county to our base on 1st Capitol Drive, and among the quickest places for us to reach.
Driveways and garages. An established residential area with a lot of vehicles that sit overnight. Dead batteries discovered on the way to work are the staple.
Harvester Road and Highway 94. Busy local arteries with heavy turning traffic, subdivision entrances and commercial driveways. Low-speed collisions and recoveries.
Older vehicles. Established neighborhoods mean cars that have been in the same driveway a long time. Alternators, starters and batteries at the end of their service life.
Winter slopes. Parts of Harvester sit on rolling ground, and the combination of a sloped driveway and ice is a reliable source of winch-out work.
Harvester is one of the fastest places in the county for us to reach. We are based at 1890 1st Capitol Dr. #553 in St. Charles — a short run down Hwy 94. Call (636) 466-8097.
A lot of what we do here is telling people whether they need a jump or a tow. If the car has been dead more than once in a month, or if it died while driving, another jump is not the answer — the battery is finished or the charging system is not charging.
We will tell you which, and if it needs to go to a shop, you choose the shop. See emergency towing.
Most Harvester calls are emergency towing and roadside assistance — jump starts, flat tires, lockouts and running out of fuel. We also do accident recovery, winch-outs, long distance towing, motorcycle transport, commercial and fleet work and abandoned vehicle removal.
Every driver is insured, every truck is dispatched from inside St. Charles County, and we answer the phone at any hour. Call (636) 466-8097.
