A small historic city on Highway N with a college, a busy main street, and a lot of student vehicles.
Cottleville is one of the older settlements in St. Charles County and still has a compact historic core, but Highway N runs straight through it and carries a great deal of traffic between St. Charles, St. Peters and Weldon Spring.
St. Charles Community College sits on the edge of town, which changes the profile of what we get called out for considerably. A large campus means a large parking lot full of vehicles owned by people who are, on the whole, at the point in life where car maintenance is not the top priority.
Campus parking. Dead batteries and lockouts are the two that dominate, particularly on cold mornings and at the end of a long day.
Highway N. A busy two-lane through-route with turning traffic, driveways and intersections. Low-speed collisions and the occasional recovery.
Older vehicles. A student population means a lot of older cars, which means alternators, starters and batteries reaching the end of their lives at inconvenient moments.
Legacy Park and event traffic. Events bring crowds, crowds bring parked cars, and parked cars produce their own small share of calls.
Students: tell us the lot and the row. A campus parking lot is a big place. The lot letter or number and a nearby building gets a driver to you considerably faster than the campus address alone. Call (636) 466-8097.
A large part of what we do in Cottleville is jump starting cars that are going to need more than a jump. We will tell you which it is. If the battery is finished or the alternator is not charging, another jump tomorrow is just money spent twice — better to know now and get it to a shop.
If it does need to go somewhere, we will tow it to the shop of your choice rather than ours.
Most Cottleville calls are emergency towing and roadside assistance — jump starts, flat tires, lockouts and running out of fuel. We also do accident recovery, winch-outs, long distance towing, motorcycle transport, commercial and fleet work and abandoned vehicle removal.
Every driver is insured, every truck is dispatched from inside St. Charles County, and we answer the phone at any hour. Call (636) 466-8097.
Cottleville sits between St. Peters and Weldon Spring, with Dardenne Prairie and O'Fallon to the west and Harvester and St. Charles east. We also cover Lake Saint Louis and Wentzville.
Campus lot or Highway N, we are a short run from St. Charles.
