Augusta is a small historic town in the southwestern corner of St. Charles County, on Highway 94 above the Missouri River bottoms. It has a genuine claim to being the center of Missouri wine country, and the Katy Trail runs right through it.
Practically, it is the furthest point in our coverage area and the one that most tow companies will not drive to. The roads in are two-lane, the terrain is hilly, and the nearest interstate is a long way off in any direction.
Winery and tasting room parking. Gravel lots, grass overflow parking, and vehicles sitting for a long afternoon. Batteries, lockouts, and occasionally a vehicle that needs to be moved on a different day.

Soft gravel and grass lots. After a wet weekend, cars get stuck in overflow parking. That is a winch-out, and it is usually straightforward.
Katy Trail users. Cyclists leaving vehicles at trailheads for the day, coming back to a car that will not start.

This is the part of the county where the difference between a company that covers an area and a company that says it covers an area shows up. Augusta is a long run from anywhere with tow trucks in it, and plenty of operators will take the call and then not arrive, or take one look at the address and decline.
